Our Mission
At Southern Comfort Adult Day Center, our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for seniors. We believe in enhancing the quality of life for our participants through compassionate care and engaging activities.
What is an Adult Day Center
What is an adult day center?
An adult day center is a center that older adults can come to build relationships with others their age, engage in stimulating activities and enjoy nutritious meals and snacks.
Our residents will attend up to 10 hours a day, six days a week. This is a great option for the older adult that lives alone or with their loved ones but do not want to live full time in a facility.
Our morning will start with a continental breakfast which includes fresh fruit, yogurt, grits, coffee, juice and much more.
Every morning we will have exercise and meditation. Our day will be filled with engaging activities that will be focused on the interests of our residents.
Our lunch will be consistent of a variety of soups, sandwiches and salads and of course delightful desserts.
We will complete the afternoon with our educational programs while ensuring our residents are engaged and having fun while under the supervision of our dedicated and trained staff.
We will ensure the residents have an appetizing snack before they leave for the evening. We will also focus on hydration throughout the day.
